I have about 2,000 dollars worth of bills and debt i need to pay. and will to pay them all at one time. I will like to pay just one bill instead of 5 to 7 people

Ok everyone this is it! I received a copy of the letter today that was sent to Rio Resources and MTE Financial by the Oklahoma Department of Consumer Credit. They have told them to CEASE AND DESIST making loans in Oklahoma!!! Hooray! Everyone start sending those complaints in fast. We are on a roll!!! I have attached a copy of the letter, I hope it shows up ok.

Does anyone have a template letter than I can use to send to the different credit bureaus to dispute items on my credit report? I'm not sure how to word it and from reading some of the topics, I have to be pretty clear on what I'm requesting from them in order for them to send me the required information. Thanks. Budmas

This # just called my cell demanding to talk to a man by the name of James ------. Of course, I told him he must have the wrong # b/c I don't know of anyone by that name. This man that called had the nerve to insist that I get him on the phone :evil: Long story short, the conversation got heated when he kept yelling at me and said, "well you better tell your son that he needs an attorney." Obviously, this man had the wrong # b/c I don't know of anyone by that name, but it sounds like a threat that Bass & Associates would use. Anyone know who this # belongs to?

I finally had an opportunity to check out PA laws, if I am reading PA correctly, PDL are not allowed to use triple interest and I know that the oens that I had were way out there (600-700)and I know it was stupid but things at the time were really nasty. I've defaulted on quite a few of them about 2 years ago which put an overdraft on my bank account and I haven't corrected that yet.

Hi gang, I'm sorry I haven't been around but been busy, yada yada. Anyway, we found out before Christmas that mom is now cancer free :) I've been meaning to post this for awhile but I just haven't done it yet. She won't need anymore chemo or radiation. She's doing well and recovering from her surgery nicely. Today, I was laid off from my job after six years. Talk about being blind sided so I've been working through those emotions today. I'm actually calm at the moment. I went from shock, to anger, to sadness. It wasn't handled well at all but I know that I'm better off.
