Hello!!! We recieved a call from Palisades Collection Agency for reasons wew have no idea.. It came on one of our cells, and to return the call and speake with someone we had to punch in a social security #, which we did not do. Is there a way we can find out what the debt could possibly be... we had credit reportd run two months ago and all was well..... Bobby

Has anyone ever had their checking account charged off at the bank for insuffient funds? I put a freeze on my account so my payday loans wouldn't take out payments but it was overdrawn when I put the freeze on because of the payday loans! the bank is charging me roughly $50 aday for being overdrawn and now the amount outstanding is $800 which I don't have! they won't help me at all so I don't know what to do. what happens when a checking account is closed by the bank?

Help! I got my checking account overdrawn because of the stupid payday loans I had and now they are going to charge off my account because I don't have $800 to put in it, they charge me almost $50 for being overdrawn! is there any program that will work with banks? they won't help me, I asked and was turned down.

I also received a payday loan from MTE. I had to contact my bank because I needed to know where it came from. I also noticed they removed $140.00 from my account recently. I was given a 866 number to call. I only applied for Cashnet also. Are these people legitimate?

Ok, so my problem is pretty minor compared to alot of stories I'm reading here. But anyway, the thing is, I keep getting calls for some mohammad character. The first company I had this experience with, I talked to some witch that didn't want to believe me that she had the wrong number. But she/they stopped calling. Then a few months later some other company called, my personal cell phone mind you, looking for this a-hole. It's a cycle where they keep telling me "oh, sorry, we'll update our records" but then some other company calls me later on.
