i owe a $2200 medical bill, I am trying to make a good faith payment of $25 a month, I will be able to double that in a month or two but they want me to sign a contract saying I will pay $100 a month which I can't guarantee. They just returned my check and said they can't take my payment unless i sign....can they do this?

I this is the letter I sent to Cash NET USA: I will call in once a month an pay 20.00 on the outstanding balance of 225.82 this is the only thing I can do. Do not call me at home or work nor my friends, family or work in regards to this matter, you can reach me by email only. I am also revoking authorization for ACH withdrawals and any wage assignment I may have signed.

The last payment I made on the loans was a very long time ago, 3+ years. I owe I think $60k or so. The loan(s) are/were through Sallie Mae. I cannot afford to make payments on the loans, unless it is very small amounts like 100-200 dollars a month.

I received a call that a complaint was filed against me and from a loan I received for $350.00. The company is telling me that I owe $980.00 because the transaction did not go thru. this was done in 2011 but this is the first I have heard from them. I told the company I am filing bankruptcy and they said that I can not include this in a bankruptcy. Is this true, I live in Ohio

I was sued by a local attorney for a debt arrow financial services, which is not mine. I told the attorneys office & provided the same to the courts, but at some timewithout my knowledge I guess they got ajudgment because this morning I waS SERVED WITH A GARNISHMENT. What can I do? Thanks

What is the difference between Chapter 13 and Debt Management? If both are 5 year repayment plans, then why choose one over the other? Chapter 13 appears more intrusive and restrictive than Debt Management, is there some benefit to Chapter 13 that Debt Management doesn't offer?
