I see that LVNV shows up on my credit as a long past due balance.I received a letter concerning this in July 2011 and requested signed documents, etc. I never received an answer. I received another collection letter in July 2012 and again requested this information with no answer. I have NEVER done business with Capital One whom they claim to be representing. Please tell me HOW to get this OFF my credit asap because I want to purchase a home soon.

Your name comes up on our Fax many times, but nothing comes in. I did check the name and the message is coming from your company. My fax number is 641-424-7091. We owe you or anyone esle nothing, no past bills or anything esle. I would like this to stop immediately. Hi. 2 years ago I got a call from Weinstein, Marchese & Associates LLC saying I owed a bunch of money for a payday loan that never got repaid. After spending alot of time on the phone and explaining that I thought that this had been taken care of, the guy gave me a discount and I still ended up having to pay a little over $680. They sent me an email saying that I would no longer have any financial obligation regarding this matter. Just last week I received a phone call from some completely different business saying I owed money on this same matter.

I finally reached out to one of my biggest loans yesterday from The Loan Machine and asked about any options they may have. I took out at $3000 loan from them about 6 months ago and the payments are almost $500 a month. She without much prodding said she'd call her manager to find out and then called me back without 10 minutes. They offered me a settlement to pay $3000 (I still owed about $3500) and my payments can be $250 a month with no more interest.

A few years ago, I was knee-deep in pay day loan debt. With some incredibly helpful advise from this site, I got things back together. But, as a result of all of the overdrafts and loan companies, i had to close my chase bank account on two different occasions and now have my payroll direct deposit to a pre-paid debit. card. My question is this. I am going to pay the collection companies handling the two closed accounts a settlement on both to erase the debt. But can I open another bank account with Chae or will they reject me because of paying a settlement? Thanks!

:confused:I reside in New York. I had requested a loan with Western Sky in December of 2011 for $2600.00. The principle amount of $2525.00 was deposited into my account minus the $75.00 origination fee.Then Western Sky sold the loan to WS funding which they claim Cash Call is now servicing. In March the loan was paid off and when I totaled all of the payments WS/ CC had received $3301.75 .

Hello I've been in contact w/a lawyer in Dept of Corporations that's been handling my cases. He said,"Please understand that we may not get your money back. However, if we do bring an action, you will be able to use that action as evidence of unlicensed activity, in small claims court." Last evening I recieved a call from a unknown collector area code 214... I could not understand half of what he was tring to say ..I understood him to tell me I was being sued for a Fast Cash Loan... and told me to write down a claim # then went on to say I was being recorded and 16 laywers were listening to our conversation. I told him I am recording you also..... I was then told I would be transfered to a Laywer after a few secs. he came back on and acted like he was someone else....

Someone called my job yesterday stating her name was Tina wright and she was a state of Louisiana employee that worked with united litigation services. Told me she was going to be serving me some papers but was giving me a chance to call 888-959-6778 to try and see why it was about. I called the all the court systems I know to call and they have no record of me being sued. When Tina wright called me back today I told her this and she acted surprised like he didn't believe I called them.
