I have a Bank of America account (2550 original past due balance) that went into collections after 7 months or so. The new balance is 4000, it was sent to OSI collections, I made payment arrangement with them for 152 for 6 months then a settlement of 2000. Now after 2 payments I get a letter in the mail stating OSI will no longer be taking my money and Bank of America Recalled the account. What does this mean when BofA Recalls my account.

Can a collection agency buy putdated accounts from credit card company and pay day loan company and charge you a outrageous fee after the account has been written off and closed for over two to three years.

I recently got a call from my payroll department saying that they received a letter from Cash Transfer Centers about a wage attachment to pay the debt I owe them and then I called Cash Transfer Centers and they told me they could have turned it over to a third party collection agency of they would get a court order stating that the money had to be payed so I told them I will pay them 50.00 a week out of my paycheck to get the debt down I am happy to say that the debt is almost payed off so that will be one less company I have to pay when my Tax Return check is received and I also have been pay
