Live in Fl husband took $900 loan from plain green loans they have taken 3 payments of 272.61 so far he is supose to pay this amount until Feb.28 2013 . is there anything we can do about this?

Sending letter to cash in a wink

These people have been calling and calling. I found out that Ia ctually had a loan that I owe$400. Everything matches but these ppl sound fishy. I asked them to mail papers but they said they could email it. All I got was a letter that anyone could type. But they do have the company that i borrowed from. How do I know if they are the real deal and should pay or not. When I called the loan company they could not tell me who my account was sold to. What do I do. They said they would hire an attorney where I lived and they hope it works out.

I was in over my head in pdl. One night I found this site and found some very useful information. I had loans with VIP and Cash in a wink. I found that both are illegal in the state of Florida. I closed the account they were withdrawing funds. On Friday August 17th they were to withdraw a payment. Yesterday August 21st I started getting calls. Today they sent a text message: your loan is at risk if you don't call back today we will call your HRS department. They loan with them was for $750. I have paid them a total of $1305.

well, i get messages left with this number....cannot understand the message....i just barely get the number. if this is a collection agency, they have NOT contacted us by mail. and if it is an OLD written off debt then i guess we need to take some action. thanks for your help and your input.

I just got a phone call from someone claiming to be an attorney representing Cash Net USA. This person claimed I took out an internet loan with this company and defaulted on it. They said that I will be arrested, taken to my job to tell my boss, then taken to the courthouse unless I make arrangements to pay it back. I refused because I don't recall taking out this loan (he refused to give me any information related to the loan). He even called my job and told the person answering the phone that I was going to be arrested (he gave way too much information). What can I do?

I was wondering if this is an actual company or it is a hoax. I understand there is a company with this name. However, I was also speaking to Mr. Ivey. He was extremely rude and threatening! I did request a verification fax sent to my bank and it was recieved. However, I want to make sure this is actually a debt owed and not fraud!! Thank you!

I live in Utah; i am being drained w/pay day loan interest. Got myself into a cycle it seems I cannot get out of. Being a single mother, pay day loans were easy & quick for cash I needed but feel overwhelmed. My question is; in this state- can these companies take me to court? I owe: $1000 RainCheck ($200 bi-weekly) $1500 Security Finance (installment 155 monthly) $2100 Check n Go (installment 347 bi-weekly I cannot fall behind on my mortgage or car, what can i do??????

Hi, I've been receiving calls from Asset Acceptance (they never leave a message but I see the name on my caller ID). I've never received a letter from them. My credit report is clean (all statuses are "paid or paying as agreed"), so I have no idea why they might be interested in me. Can I safely ignore these calls unless and until I get a letter from them? Thanks for you help. LRD
