Has anyone heard from Bass and Cronies lately? I had a nasty call from them on 2 payday loans. I contacted my attorney. He advised me not to return their call. Since then I haven't heard from them. I wonder if they "downloaded their affidavits"? Mike

allied interstate has just recently contacted me about some pretty old cc debt. The card went default in 1998. I think i made a payment early 2002 to a diffrent collection agency. I asked AI to send me a debt verfication letter. He says one is on the way. I also asked him about the SOL. He said everytime the debt is sold the SOL starts over. Does anyone know if this is true.

I live in NJ and from what i understand that the payday loans are prohibited. I have several loans out and are dealing with a few companies for settlements right now. My question is i took out a loan from paydaymax.com for 300 i paid 325 just in fees and extenstions (so they say). Now they claim i owe them 700 more dollars and are now calling my refrences to get info on me. i do have complaints in with the ag and bbb but not yet heard anything. Can someone help with this.

Hence we decided to display all the active cards under one roof.

I live in California, and I am being sued by Unifund CCR I am positive that the last transaction with the original credit was in 2002 or 2001, it has reached its statute of limitations, but I don't have proof. the law firm representing Unifund sent an old bill, but the date of the last payment or transaction does not show. what do I do?
