What is the Statue of limitations in florida?

Ok here is the deal. I have one credit card with about 16000 on it and I got behind 30 days because they jacked the interest up. I am fine making all of my other payments. This card is with chase bank. I have one other with Chase bank that I am caught up with but I would like to do something with it. Chase is calling but that is the only one I ever hear from each time. I cannot get them to work with me, If they would lower the interest and the payment I would be fine. I just got a raise but this is eating it up each day. I just need sound advice on what to do with this debt.

I contacted my bank and put in a dispute about this company. They are a scam company. How do I get out from under the thumb of this company? I have paid them over 700.00 on a 200.00 loan. they need to be shut down!!!!!

I am just starting the battle with the payday loan companies I am involved with. I changed my bank account so they do not have access but now the emails and phone calls are starting. I can't keep having them calll my work and I'm afraid they may harrass the people I used as references. What do I do?

I'm not sure how finance charges are calculated. For example: apr is 20$ annualy and I have a balance of $200. How can I determine how much my finance charges will be for the month?

I have been on-and-off work for the past 5+ years after being laid off in May of 2001 from a good paying telecom job. I am educated, intelligent, multitalented and multilingual but somehow cannot find a job to save my life! I have two interest free mortages (1st mortgage=$2000/month fixed for 10 years (balance of $320k) & a home equity loan of $600/month with adjustable interest rate going up every month! (balance of $67k). I can't sell my house because the real estate market is practically dead. I am trying to rent the house but so far have been unsuccessful.
