This annoying pop-up hides the right side of my screen so I can't read what has been written by other people. How can we get rid of it?

After a credit card company gets a judgment against you, I've heard they can get a Writ of Execution to seize all of your non-exempt personal property from your home. My questions are... #1. How do they know what is exempt and what is not exempt? #2. How can they enter your home to take your personal property since this is a civil matter (consumer debt), not a criminal matter, and therefore they would need a search warrant to force their way into your home? So, if you simply did not answer the door, they could not come into your home.

Hey Guys: I have been working with T&C for the last three months and they have been paying my bills respectfully. However, I am curious on what my current balances are with these companies. I want to write them a letter requesting that they send my balance to me and also to see whether they will finally eliminate my debt from them completely and/or work out a settlement. However, I am stumped as to start the letter. Can someone help me?

Has anyone ever heard of or dealt with Credit Protection Depot? I keep getting calls from them. They leave messages on both my cell and home phone. I can't find anything about them online.

I have four payday loans that have defaulted all at one time. I got over my head on bills and had to pay them all at once and now it seems like I can't recover. If it were one amount taken out at one time it would be so much easier than 4 different places withdrawing whatever they want from my account. No matter how much money I put in there, I always manage to get a NSF in my statements. I only had one more payment on each loan before they defaulted. Now I have companies calling me 24-7. Can you help me?

If you previously had an account with Providian Visa, now called Emerge and they've sent it to attorney's Farrell & Seldin BE AWARE that you can not trust these people. I had an old visa that I stopped paying on (my daughter had a stay at a mental hospital and I needed all monies for testing etc). I stopped paying in 2003. I never heard anything from anyone until the doorbell rang at 9:30 p.m. and they served my 12 yr old daughter with a summons for me to go to court. First of all this is unethical and probably illegal. A court date was set.
