Just some background information... My husband and I both worked full time and made a decent living. I was laidoff from my job July 1, 2005. We still have decent credit and own our own home. We have a lot of debt on credit cards and a second mortgage on our home. I want to cry every month when the credit card bills come in - We make the minumum payments - maybe a little more when we can - but I do not see us getting anywhere. I would love to be able to make one monthly payment and feel like we are getting ahead. It has not ruined our credit yet - that is what I want to avoid.

Has anyone ever heard of them?

I just finalized a divorce less then a year ago, that took some time on her part cause she would not come to an agreement with me. However, I was left with all the bills from the marriage. Plus during that time my blazer was REPOED, and my trailer was forclosed on. I also had to get a few payday loans to pay for my child support payments which put me in further in debt and I could not pay them back becasue I kept falling further and further behind. Now Yesterday one of the payday loan center threaten to take me to court if I do not pay within the next 24 hours.
