I am about to hire the langhorne people myself..but do you really have to close you account?? I mean I dont want to have to go through the hassle of telling my husband..hey babe we need to close our account and open a new one because I screwed up?

Well I am just beginning my long journey back from payday hell, thanks to all your support and suggestions. Because I had so many (19) I decided to retain Langhorne to deal with this mess. I was just wondering if there is anyone who has retained Langhorne Law and if they would be willing to share their experience and successes or failures.

My husband has been out of work for 4 years, due to injuries, we are getting no money for his injury, or I should say the little we did is long gone paying bills. Credit cards are maxed and calling us constantly, I am paying, just not the $500 per month each of them wants. Now 3 months behind on the mortgage. Now Amex has sent Zwicker after us, leaving VERY nasty voicemails. The problem is I talked to Amex several times, I told them I couldn't pay what they wanted, but that I am paying every month, as much as I can afford.

I know this is just a vent BUT.. I had to come to this site to remind me NOT to get in another I had the web site up for my cash now.. Last night i got home to find a letter from the IRS that i owe 333.00 MORE ( not sure what this will do to my arrangments) calling them Friday.. and I also have to face the PDL Friday and tell them no more.. and file all the complaints.

What can i do about a debt that was owed to At&t, that was paid and i have proof of payment but At&t has already ruined credit because of this and the collection will not cooperate even though the debt was already paid.

Does anyone know the number to them?
