Payday OK have marked my acct. paid in full, as I sent them an email advising of my state's pdl laws and bringing to their attention that I had paid back the principal of the loan and more interest than is legally allowable in my state. I finally got Cashnet 500 to agree to a payment arrangement of the legal amount I owe them, which has taken me over a month to do. They kept maintaining they only had to abide by Utah laws, even after I posted the pdl laws for this state.

i just got an unusual call from a Greg Duncan with the law firm of Gerald Moore (i don't know if it is the same moore). He said that there was a claim against me for $5,500 from MBNA. he said that i was put down as the gauranteer for IMC Corporation. i have never even heard of IMC Corporation and while i do have many debts none of them are behind on payments. he also gave me the following phone number 800-706-2556. i hunted the internet for information on any of this and i can find anything. has anyone ever heard of something similar?

In July 2006 my identity was stolen by God knows who! Well, apparently, got a payday loan from me. I make enough I dont need a pay day loan! Well this company says they gave me money but they wont fax me proof of my deposit or anything. They said they dont keep those kind of records. Well, now they are saying I owe them money and I dont know them from Adam. Its frusterating I have had to change my banking information 2 times now as a result of all this!

I have a company up my butt trying to collect money from me and i have no idea who they are or what they are doing and how they contacted me. my identity was stolen and someone applied this loan for me.

Hi everyone. In todays mail I received a collection letter from afni Inc. I have a couple of questions about it. First of all, it is addressed to my first name, different last name(almost same name, but spelled different), my address. Second, the last sentence says they are debt collector attempting to collect a debt, and any info will be used for that purpose. Nowhere does it give me the "right to dispute withi 30 days statement." Isn't that required by law?

I am in the worst possible situation. I not only have outstanding payday loans, I am currently paying my employer back an advance that I obtained to catch up on month to month bills (rent,car note, utilities). That is taking so much of my check I can barely afford daycare and I am behind again. Not to mention, that my credit was already in the toilet. I just can\'t cope anymore. I am about to lose my car, and have a court date for eviction ( I am only one month (oct) behind, but I am always late. I am lost, but with 5 kids, I better find my way soon.

I have an attorney(who represents a collection agency for an origianl credit card debt) threatening my 75 year old mother with a default judgement. Problem is, they cannot find the original application filled out in 1993. It is my debt, my social security number and date of birth--but my mom's name. Can they take property me and my mom have together through this default judgement?? Can I get the case moved from New York (where my mom lives)to Missouri (where I live) so I can relieve the stress and respond in a timely manner??

Does anyone know about these folks? They state they are a collection agency under the counsel of Rose and Scrogan. Paige
