I have dispted the last rond of ACH transactions, what reason do I give B of A in my letter I have to fax tomorrow? Once I close my account do I ned to send b of a revocation of ACH transactions? I have moved my direct deposit to new account. I have the letter to go to AG office tomorrow, and all of the PDLs - didn't want to set them off too early as next payday is next week.

I would like to request some help in writing a debt validation letter to be filed with the court. I received a civil court summons the 14th. I first called the lawyers office who filed against me. In the conversation with them,they told me I didn't need to contact the court just had to deal with them. I ignored this and contacted the court. I was told there that I had to file a defense. I DO NOT have a court date/hearing, per the court office. All I was told there was to have my signature notorized and send a copy of my defense to the lawyer,notorized as well.

I understand that a company cannot call an individual at home on Sundays in Ontario, Canada, regarding an outstanding debt? Is this correct? Can someone help?

Hi, I have been reading this board for about 3 months now while working through my own financial nightmare and have gotten an immeasurable amount of emotional support from all of you even though I don't post about my own problems. I am frustrated about some members who, in my opinion, are posting for points and not necessarily helping. After 3 months of reading, I know who is giving good accurate advice (you know who you are) and it worries me that some people (you also know who you are) are giving cut and pasted replies, advice not asked for, and sometimes I believe wrong advice.

I just graduated from grad school and I accrued student loans plus credit card debt. I owe my credit card company $23,000, and they just reaised my interest rate to 25%. With my $500 monthly student loan repayments (for the next 20 years) and my credit card, I feel like I am in a straight jacket. I have a job and I am current on all of my bills, but right now I have no money to pay upcoming bills. The moment I get paid the money is gone. Does anyone know a company I can trust to get out of debt?
