Okay, this may seem like a dumb question but I'm going to ask it anyway. I was looking at the classifieds online and found a job that I want to send my resume into. It is asking for a narrative letter about myself along with the resume. Would this be considered the same as a cover letter? :oops:

Hello all, about 5-6 years ago, I got a loan from MBNA bank and then fell onto hard times. They ended up charging off the original amount, which was 1500. Since then, I have gotten a lot of letters from different collection agencies, and since I haven't made much money for the last 3 to 4o years (less than $12000 each year) because of unemployment for about 6 months and then going to college full time, I wasnt able to do anything but ignore the calls and harassments.

I recently started receiving threatening calls from the jerks at Allied for a debt for a person with the same name as mine, but a different social security number. They keep saying they will cease and desist, but everday, like clockwork, I get a call from the jerks. When I call them back and call them names and be as nasty to them as they are to me, they hang up on me: Imagine that. I just got off the phone with the Federal Trade Commission. I filed a complaint against the Jerks at Allied. The FTC number is 1-877-382-4357.

Hello, I Have been building my credit since I was 18. I am now 23 years old. I've always paid my bills on time never made a late payment. Last year a friend of mine asked me to co-sign a credit card for her. She had no credit history what so ever. So I figured i'd help her out. With the agreement that she would pay all the bills on time. I had put a $2,000 credit limit on the card. Everytime she reached her limit they up the credit without my knowledge. she was only paying the minimum payments. Sometime around may I recieved a phone call saying that her payment was past due.

Has anyone ever heard of this company? They have approved me for a collateral loan, but i'm not sure they are legit or not.

How do you get Nationwide to stop calling? I mean, I pick up the phone and there is no one there. Thank you, Davidlee

I have a SERIOUS question about the ethics (or lack thereof) of allied interstate. Can someone please verify for me whether or not it's true that CA's are only permitted, by law, to call ONE time per hour. I desperately would love an answer to this question since these guys have called me today, 10/26/06,at the following times, and I quote from my caller ID: 2:53 pm, 2:45pm, 2:43pm, 2:35pm, 2:28pm, 2:20pm, 2:11pm, 2:01pm, 1:50pm, 1:40pm, 1:29pm, and 1:16 pm.!!!!!! What the hell!!! Is this NOT HARASSMENT??????
