So I called the 3 PDL places I have about their EPP plans to find out what they offer. When I previously inquired MONTHS ago, I asked what "payment arrangements" they have. They all basically told me none, you just have to have your check returned then they can set something up. Now today I call and say "I want to set up the EPP" and not just ask them for arrangements they all change their answer. Quik Cash tells me they will set up 4 monthly payments to pay off the balance.

Just when I thought this was over and done with, I received a v/m from process server to serve me papers at place of employment. Called process server and was told too late to meet him today but to call the filing office. Called filing office and inquired where they were located which was New York. I am in MD. Asked why if he in NY and me in MD why was he sending court papers. Response was that they outsource and he has several MD pepole to deliver to. Asked what it was concerning and Steve responded that it was for a payday loan with Quickest Cash Advance dba National Payday Lending.

We have national credit adjusters contacting us asking for payment on payday loans. Should I send a cease and desist or ask for a debt validation? I'm in NY so payday loans are illegal--

I am turning all of my information over to the Feds!

I have had loans with both of these places for a couple of years. I would pay it off and get another one a short time later. Here recently I started doing some research and found this blog site VERY HELPFUL! But before I send them C & D letters, can you tell me if both of these places have the right to loan in Virginia? I have went and printed off the "Money Transmitter Licensees" for Virginia and I dont see either of these companies listed there. What about Cash Net USA are the legal in Virginia as well? I have currently 4 PDL's in Florida and have been constantly requesting that all correspondence be sent in writing regarding my outstanding balances. I am attempting to resolve them, but I am being bombarded by phone calls, my phone cant even hold a charge any more, and they keep calling me at work. I have requested via email records of my accounts, showing borrowed, paid, outstanding, and so forth, but they keep sending me generic auto reply.

I understand that Ky law states that online lending is illegal and they cant collect on the principal nor fees but these PDL's are saying that they are filing fraud charges or check fraud charges. Can they do that?

hi my fiance has 15,000.00 in medical debt and were getting married in october he doesnt really know what would be a gd way to get rid of the debt bc he only makes enough on his checks to pay bills and to buy the necessities for our child who is 19months im also a stay at home mom so its hard for me to help with paying things. i just want him to be stress and debt free before we get married

I paid a debt to the collection agency CCA (Collection Company of America) in 03/2011. Until this day (8/14/2012) my credit report shows that the bill is unpaid (In Equifax the debt is show as unpaid. In Experian, the debt is show as "paid account/was a collection"). I called them two or three times and asked them to fix it. They have done nothing. What Am I supposed to do? can I sue them?
