I have issued a C&D to a CA based in California and the collections rep that has been harrassing me totally disregarded it and called me both at home and work today. I didn't speak to him directly, just got the message. Has anyone ever filed a complaint against a CA for not honoring a C&D that you issued? If so, where did you file the complaint and what happened?

Why did you take money from my bank account, and i did not authorize it. Because you did that, now my check for my car payment is going to bounce. I have left two messages and no one has called me back. This is really stressfull.

I received a letter from Asset Acceptance today isisting I owed Chase Manhatten Visa $1209.00 from 1980!!! I called the 800 number in Warren, MI. and after going through 2 different women who tried to 'snow' me I got a 'gentleman' who was really tough. He told me I had no choice but to pay and too pay within 30 days! I told him I had an attorney and gave him my lawyer's name and phone number. I then called Chase (I have 3 accounts there now) and after some time on the phone their Security Dept. told me I have never had an account with them until 1995!!! What do you think I should do now?

I have severalpayday loans out. I know that they are mine, but everytime I go to make a payment the PDL folks have overdrafter the account and I am left with even less $$. What are the correct steps to take? Where do I look for the information as to how these companies are filed? What do I do please someone help me.. :cry:

Back in early August I decided to try diputing deragatory marks on my credit report, I decided to do this myself after talking with companies who charge a fee for this. Well today I got a response for all of the disputes I made. I had success with having 7, yes 7, degratory marks deleted from my filed. That feels good. I actually forgot that I had done this because it has been awhile, but this was good news.

What happen to the loan?

I loaned my friend 2K but am wary whether she will pay me back. Do I need to get the loan notarized in order to garnish her wages in case she defaults on payment?
