My Sad Story, The Movie...

After being on this site for a matter of months and getting to know all of you, I feel like I am at a turning point in my struggle with debt and the PDL monster. When I get to the point where I feel like things are getting better, then bam, there I go slipping down into the hole again! I do work full time and make a pretty good income, but I am the only person currently working in my home right now. My husband is having medical issues and just can't and we are supporting my teen-ager, who also works. Along with rent, food and power, there's little if nothing left at the end of the month.

Marcia Brady’s Lovechile tells all . . .

19 years 3 months ago
Some folks wanted to know who this “Marcia Brady’s Lovechile” is that posts as a guest, acts like he knows something about pdl’s, The real name is Dennis Williams and the firm is Langhorne Law. Yes . . . THE Langhorne Law that so many Nationwide Cash customers posted about. Also, the Langhorne Law that developed the single-state license model that so many internet lenders follow today.

P2P Lending (peer to peer lending)

19 years 3 months ago
I was wondering if anyone had ever heard of this form of lending/borrowing money? I have researched it a little but there is not a lot out there about it. I did go to prosper.com but haven't decided if I will join. It seems pretty legitimate, any ideas before I take the plunge. Thanks

Fidelity Resources Corp and credit repair

19 years 3 months ago
I'm considering two companies to join their debt consolidation plan. Has anyone here ever gone through the debt consolidation process with Fidelity Resources Corporation? If so, did your credit score recover the way they are telling me it will in 1.5 -2.5 years? (depending on how fast I can pay it off) I'm trying to get a better feel for this company and would appreciate any info-good or bad. I'll even entertain the odd Urban Legend about them! Anything? Anybody??

Question about SOL and a Repo

19 years 3 months ago
1. I have a charge off account on my Equifax report. The date the account was opened was 04/2000. I dont remember when a last payment was made and the date of last payment on the credit report is blank. However, the date reported says 07/2004. I have a few other accounts that are charge off accounts with no payments made in 5 or more years however there is a date in the date reported part of my credit report within the last 2 years or so. Can the collection company do something to put this date on my credit report? Does the SOL restart at this date which is in the date reported column?
