I have two auto loans (I am a co-signer on one) and the person I co-signed for is not making the payments. I need to consolidate both loans. Wells Fargo turned me down. Where else can I go?

Are payday loans considered Written Contracts, Oral Agreements or Promossory Notes? How can a "Debt Collector" threaten fraudulent chgs against ur ssn & name if they don't tell you who they are. Do they have "Civil Svc Depts"? Been contacted 6 times in 3 days threatening to hunt me down @ work & residence, court papers w/fraudulent chgs against my ssn & name. They are with "Civil Svc Dept" (no bus. name or indiv. name given) and I have been notified. Give a case# and contact plaintiff phone# (same # call came from). Is this a scam???? Only recieve the call @ work, never @ home or cell.

I have 4 payday loans due at the end of this month totaling $1200 and 4 installment loans with payday lenders totaling about $12,000. My brother recommends Chapter 13 bankruptcy but lawyer fees are about $4000 to do so. I have started looking into payday loan consolidation programs. What does anyone know about the success and legitimacy of these companies. Any particular recommendations? Thanks in advance - the people on this site have been so helpful to me!

They tried to debit my account with a unauthorized "check payment" resulting in an insufficient funds. Then, to make matters worse they added to my bill insufficient funds, added charged that was caused by their own unauthorized transaction. When I threatened them with a lawsuit, they immediately sold the debt to a JDB (Junk Debt Buyer), Midland Funding Inc.

i have a question do the letter for settlement with tribal lenders really work??? if so how do they stay in business.....has anybody just have to pay principal and not go to collection? I am just scared about this whole mess i got myself into..... thank guys...just very scared:(:(:(

They called me july 18th 2012 and again on August 10th 2012. They left 2 voicemails. On the 18th said i was in lieu of a wage assessement. Second one on august 10th advised call in regards to court order. I dont owe any pay day loan company. On july 18th i asked for address to send verbal c&d they would not provide and hung up in my face. I advised that I am giving a verbal cease and desist and to not call me due to fcdpa laws. Did they violate that law? even though it was not in writting they would not provide me address. :confused:

Experian has my year of birth WRONG! Other 2 bureaus have it right. How do I get you to correct?
