i have just gotten in a letter from a CA regarding a bill that is over 7 years old. what should i do to make sure it does not hurt my credit.

have you heard of tsys collections or mc brecken? ( sorry spelling really not sure on the mc brecken?)

They called me last night and told me the are sueing me for a credit card that i am 60 days late on. Mind you that I have started a debt program. Also this is the 1st time that is account has ever been 60 days late too.I am so scared I do not know what to do. I just started the program and every thing. Please let me anything on this company. thanks

I am in debt. Late fee and min. pay is very hard for me to pay right now.

Hello, I've started to receive collection notices from Asset Acceptance about a supposed debt I incurred with WFNNB/Samuels. I believe the trade name is Zales Jewelers or Samuels Jewelers? The collection notice is stating that the date was 1991. In the first place I have never been to a Zales (or Samuels) jewelers, let alone purchase anything from them. So, I made a call to Asset Acceptance, and asked them to provide some information. I then told them I have never made a purchase there, and requested validation.

I talked to guy at DTS financials. He really advised me well. has anybody in this forum worked with DTS financials for debt settlement? if there is any other good debt setlement company please let me know Thanks

Hello. I'm new to this group; stumbled across it on a Google search. I felt I was one of the few that had fell into the payday loan trap. I guess I'm not alone. I have some payday loans I would like to consolidate including CTC. In fact, I am past due on a loan with them and they are threatening to contact my employer and garnish my wages. Is that legal, and is there anything I can do to stop it? Also, does anyone have a link on the Kansas laws regarding pdl's? This site is a godsend. Thank you all for your help.

what do you do if a debt is over 7 yrs old but it keeps being sold to different agencys. does this reset the clock on the debt if not what needs to be done to hvae it removed?
