Get this, some foreign lady who barely speaks English has called me 3 times since I've gotten home from work! SHE IS INSISTING THAT I RECEIVE A PDL FROM THEM! I can't repeat on this forum what I had to say, but she played dumb and I suggested that she get somebody that understood my English, I AM FILING A COMPLAINT WITH THE OH AGS OFFICE AND DIVISION OF FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS BECAUSE I FOUND OUT THEY CAN NOT SOLICIT BUSINESS WITH OHIO CITIZENS!!!

I had a payday that is in default of about $500. United Legal has been contacting me and harassing me at work. The latest phone conversation implied that their 'client' was going to take further action if payment was not received. Where do I stand on this and what course of action can I take. Cameron

My credit card interest rates are incredibly high (one as high as 38%). I am deliquent on all three accounts. My total unsecured debt is around 12K. Bank of America is 6700, Compass is 3600 and GM Flex Card is 1600. Any help is really needed. I can really only afford payments of $300 at max. Thank God things are going okay for me with the 9 pdl's that I have. But this one called me at work and was extremely rude. I sent all of my creditors a courtesy letter explaining that I was having financial probs due to possible identity theft. All of them accepted my arrangements except for Paychecktoday.com. They would not give me a mailing address, would not tell me what state they were in or anything. When I was trying to set up arrangements they kept demanding credit card info..I don't have a credit card I told them.

So....I took a loan out from them months ago, they never reponded when I requested to speak with a manager, the loan never got paid, and it was sent to a nasty collections agency. I spoke with the guy through him threatening me. Which of course didn;t work. Then whenI asked him for an address he said by the laws of his company he doesn't have to. So I never sent a DV letter. And haven;t heard back from them. They cant sue me until they send a DV letter. So I'm just going about with my life not worrying....

I am being harrassed by United Cash, in which I am pretty sure that they violated the usury laws. I know I paid quite a bit of interest. Does anyone know if they are licensed to practice in the state of Colorado. He says that they have not violated the usury laws, but I am sure that they have. Any suggestions? I know I have read forums on here before about United Cash??? help!

Does anyone have any information in regards to military law as far as being responsible for paying back loans from internet PDL's not licensed in your state? :?:

Just got an e-mail from Janet to say that the only way they could do the refund was as an ACH deposit. And... I just got off the phone with someone named Christina (who called me... they even *asked my wife* for permission to call me at work b4 they called!!!!). I gave Christina the routing and account numbers for my Ohio account ($1.02 in there right now :) ). She said the ACH deposit would be in there as of midnight tonight. Dang. Watch how fast I empty that account and close it!!! :) Exciting stuff!!! And I owe it all to you folks.
