Today, I cancelled my contract with Hess Kennedy because they were not contacting my creditors, they were brushing off the messages I left on their answering machine, etc. They responded by telling me that I owed them $1313 in lawyers' fees. To lawyers that did NOTHING on this case. They are con artists. I am going to take this to court. These sharks should not be able to get away with this.

Hi, has anyone dealt with CPS security in texas.or Check Plus Systems,LP also in texas? Are they the same company. I have gotten letters from both.this latest is from the check plus systems.Both companys always send a yellow envelope and paper that says says "Priority-Gram". One other thing the envolpe says mailed from 48068 zip,but the address on the letter is 78278.

Has anybody ever dealt with them. I think they are the collection agency for Rio Resources?

Does the validation on apply to debt collectors? I am asking this because years ago i was put out of my apartment, not for nonpayment but for a nosie valiation. Once removed they said i broke the contract invovled and charged me extra money. Can i ask for validation from them to see what the charges are?

hello everyone, well i have a question. I owe like 5 online payday loans , i'm paying on one right now FTR Proscessing. Well i ca't afford to pay all of them at one time, so should I just keep paying them off one by one, even though they are trying to threaten with garnishments, and jail etc? thanks any help i'd aapreciate.

I am in the process of paying off debts and cleaning up my credit report. Upon reviewing my CR, I noticed that there is a certain acct. that is reported twice. It is derogatory, and I haven't paid it off just yet. The acct. has been turned into collections. Anyway, it isn't legal for them to report it twice, as if it's two different debts, is it? The same acct. number is listed for both, with a difference of $300 in the balances, apparently the larger amount has collection fees added in. How to I go about disputing this? What part of the laws can I quote to help in my dispute?

I have been served papers by Stewart and Associates on behalf of Credigy Receivables. I have never been in this kind of situation. I have been in contact with Stewart and Associates in reagrd to 2 accounts that I do not dispute. In December, 2005, they contacted me in regard to my discover account and my fleet account. I was not willing to set up recurring payments due to I was in business for myself and my income wavered monthly, but the agreed to contact me monthly in regard to monthly pmt.

I have a PDL loan with Bahamas Marketing Group and would like to start sending payments to them. The loan is now with a collection company called Pre Ligtigations and will not give me a address. they have also harrassed me and threatened me about paying. I have been sending payment by money gram but would like to save the money it is costing to send and mail the payment. Can you help?
