In march Midland Credit agency send me a bill regarding an old debt. I wrote them a verification letter (sent it certified)- They never responded or verifited the debt. However on my credit report it was put under "pending" or something like that- Yesterday they sent me another bill...The debt SOL is out- What kind of letter do I send them so I can get this off my credit and I can get them off my back- the debt is over- the sol is out--- Help I am really lost and frustrated!!!!

Hi all I am loraine. I am new to this forum. I work in a Pharmacy store. I have credit card debts & student loan debt. I am suffering from these loans. I heard people saying whenever u get into debts consolidate them and get rid of them. I know it decreases your interest rate and no need to deal with lot of companies. But how far it is suggestible to consolidate all the debts into a single one. Because consolidating your debts may affect your credit ratings.

I got a credit card in Feb. 2006, interest rate was 0% for 6mo, then 9.9%. Now I looked online and noticed there was a $42.00 payment charge. When I called the company they said after they add on my interest rate then I am charged the same rate. Which didn't make sense to me. And I asked them what my interest rate is? He said 23%. I have never missed a payment or anything. My credit limit is $2000.00, my husband maxed it out buying the XBOX 360! I been making payments of $150.00 a mo for the 1st 3mo, then making payments of $300.00 a mo. In June it was paid down to $900.00.
