can you help consolidate payday loans

Im in debt with credit cards and a student loan that is in default. if i consolidated my debt does that mean you guys pay them and i pay you? im not sure how it works.

Does anyone know if 60 minutes or Dateline NBC has ever done on story on Payday loans ? If not I think it would be a good story that would help many individuals that deal with Payday loans. Thanks

I always thought I was the only one with payday loan trouble. I guess our state government has some say so in this business. Why are so many continuing to go in business ? Do these payday loan companies have it in with our state & local governments ? Seems to me they do. Just food for thought.

Wish me luck everyone. NCO has an Amex account of mine for about $450.00. I don't dispute I owe it, but I am having financial difficulties. I've tried to talk to NCO to no avail. I sent them a Cease and Desist letter that was received and signed for on Aug. 28th. Today (Aug. 30) they called me at my office. I explained the Cease and Desist. The lady said, "I don't see it in the computer, therefore I don't have to abide". The law clearly states once it's been received by the company, communication must stop except for a couple of extenuating circumstance.

I'm kind of getting some place on my problem w/ PDL. and I have settled my problem regarding my house preforclosure. Now, I have to deal with my car company. I am 2 months behind and I keep getting a threat from collection agency that they will pull out my car. Can they do that or they will send me a letter first. I will send them a payment (for 1 month) this Friday but I am still 2 months behind. How do I explain to them that I just get back to work after 3 months of maternity leave and still trying to get back on my feet.

It's time to take a stand against illegal collections practices!

Does anybody know if your PDL company turns your account over to a collection agency (universal fidelity) does that automatically put a judgement on your credit reports ? Thanks
