got a call from allied interstate stating that they were going to file charges agianst my wife she set up a payment then cancel it cause her atm card got stolen so she closed the account. she called them last week and told them that the account was close then the silly woman call yesterday and say why she close the account i told that her card got stolen and she told yall that her account is close. so is it against the law for them to threaten you like that just need a lil help before i try to file a law suit with them.. thank you

I'm simply trying to help others with debt problems.... yet EVERY time I post something it's deleted! If you don't want me giving my opionion please let me know and I'll not come onto this forum again. It's very rude that my posts keep getting deleted!

As this is my first post I have been lurking for a while now. I just downloaded on of my credit reports and noticed something funny. A place called H & R ACCOUNTS INC is listed on my file. But here is the kicker. The debt is valid and has been paid. It was for some healthcare stuff. OK Back to the kicker. The responcible party for this account that is listed at the time was my wife. (we were not married when the debt happened) Now I did all of the talking with H&R and got this thing paid. But it is on my report. My question is can they do this?

To Whom It May Concern, I am hoping to get some help in consolidating my debts. I was in the U.S. Navy for 7 yrs. I recently got out in March of 06, and I was unable to find a job for 4 months. In that time I was unable to pay bills due to rent and food for the family. I have now have a good paying job, and I would like to handle all the debt my wife and I have accumilated. I had a credit score of 720 and in the past 6 months it has fallen to 400. I am looking forward to getting my credit score back on track.

I am embarassed to say that I got a loan from this company in December, 2005. Since then they have been deducting $90 every two weeks from my checking account. I finally got tired of it and stopped payment on the debit and then changed my account number. They are calling me at work (I am a nurse) and even told one of my co-workers that they were returning my call to try to get me on the phone. Today I received a call from them and got two emails threatening criminal action.

I was contacted by a law firm regarding a debt they claimed I owed to the company that manages my condo association. They simply gave an amount which looked like about 3 months of dues, plus a fee of $108. I requested they validate this debt and have confirmation that they received my letter requesting validation before the 30 days were up. I never recieved any other contacts nor anything that validated the debt. About 30 days after they received my letter I got a letter saying that they had put a lean on my property.

I just got off the phone with the credit card company. I tried to come to a payment agreement with them but they were just cold and uncooperative. Now she said that she was turning it in to the collections and that they would have thier lawyers sue me. Im so worried. I dont know what to do. Crying is not helping....

I have got caught in the Payday Loan cycle. I have 3 loans still pending after having paid a ton of money. I accept full responsibilty for this. But I feel that I have paid a lot of money to these companies already. I called my bank today, because the three of these companies are now debiting my checking account daily. I have spoke to only one of them, the other two are on automated dailers and have not returned my messages. The bank suggested that I close my account after I pay the banks debit charges and open a new account.

I just had to share this! As I work for a huge HMO in Northern California (Starts with K, ends with R)I called payroll today as I was advised to find out about voluntary wage assignments and whether they are honored. I was hooked up with the Garnishment Supervisor (yep, we're so big that we've got one!), who told me that not only do they send all of the ones back from sleazy PDL's, the worst one and I quote "is one that's homebased out of Canada!! (gee, wonder who that could be?? Could it be SONIC??--like SATAN??) and yes it is!!

Please explain abritration. How does a CA or JDB file or get arbitration against a consumer for a credit card? Thankyou.
