There is a scam going on now,maybe you are aware of it,but I didn't even think about it. It goes like this-You are looking for a job on the computer and go to apply online on an employment application. They are saying alot of these are bogus companies,and you have just give them 2 of the 4 things they need for identity theft,your name,address, date of birth and ss number.Now I knew not to give ss number,etc.,but didn't think about birthdate.

Does anyone know what the highest amount anyone has consolidated thru a program (and possible payments), like T & C or a similar debt consolidation agency? As some of you may know, we have alot but am still trying to go the consolidation route...have tried contacting T & C but was on hold for over 20 minutes. I originally heard back from Superior Debt, but I don't think they do consolidation, at least from what I have read in these forums. Thanks.

Because of a vendor dispute, we withheld payment for services not received. After getting what we paid for, I paid this account in full. The creditor reported us on all three CRAs that we were a charge off! I even have a letter from the creditor saying that we paid in full in January 2005, but they reported us as a charge off in March 2005. This has greatly affected our FICO. I tried writing letters to the creditor and disputed it on all three reports, but still have not been able to get it resolved. Now it's being reported as a charge off, but paid in full!?!

My husband left me and our two kids in march 2006//he left us with so much debt it's unbearable. He was a drug user..i kept applying for loans because i was either behind on rent or i could not feed my babies..everytime i get paid there is barely enough to survive on//help!!

The story is simple..I got myself into a debt situation where the payments of a credit card and a loan payment are too high for me to make. With the rates applied and minimum payment I am unable to make the minimums anymore and it has gotten out of hand. I need a way to make my payments smaller so I can pay these off.
