I am trying to pay off my PDL's. So I contacted Cash Central, hoping that I could at least pay the refinance fee (or possibly pay them off) on September 4 when I got paid and not on August 21 which I am originally due. Cash Central told me that I was not going to be able to do that because the only date that they could give me was August 23. Plus, they told me that I cannot make arrangements to pay off my loan unless it came back to them, then they could send it to collection. I was hoping to avoid that. Can anyone tell me where to go from here?

I took a loan out from this company 2 months ago...Had problems with my bank and called them over 10 times since then and always get "there are no managers available" then today I get a call at my job on a recorded line being informed that I'm being threatened with legal action because I refused to pay the loan back or get in contact with them. The creditor informed me that he has to have $580 by 3pm today. Psycho! First of all I don't know who you are, second I'm NOT paying $580 on a $260 loan!!!! So he told me to get my attorney because I was going to be going to court.

I keep getting a call from 800-420-3194...they leave no info except for a case #...does anyone know which company this is?

I've asked a few questions regarding my credit report in this forum (under Credit Report Help) a few topics down and haven't received a lot of answers. I've pulled Experian and Equifax reports. I printed them both out today and saw something on the Experian report that I didn't notice the other day. Under Status Details, it has "this account is scheduled to continue on until month-2006,2007." The dates are very near when the 7 years should be up for negative information.

This is amazing...about a year ago, we knew we were going to be having some financial problems, and so we called all our credit card companies to try to get interest rates lowered. The only ones that would work with us was Discover Card. Because we were not yet in default, no one wanted to help. Then once we were in default, we no longer qualified for help. Discover lowered our interest rate from 25% to 8%, and waived any over the limit fees, etc, plus discounted like $600 of our balance out of courtesy.

Hi, I am currently dealing with three different pdl companies. I have made payment arrangements with two of them but the third is still sending me threatening emails. I've just learned from reading this board that this is illegal! I have also found that they may be debiting my checking account illegally. It seems that they are using two different names to debit my account. One is DMS Marketing and the other is Check Recovere out of Kansas City MO. I'm sure more information is needed, but can anyone advise me on how to handle this? Thanks

I was hearing about debt consolidation and how you can lower all my payment into one low monthly payment until everything is paid. Im interested in this. I have a loan that I ned to pay off which is really the only problem and the interest rate is very high. If you could be of assistance I would be happy.

My husband and I spoke to someone at Consumer credit counseling of America on Monday. They are associated with Hess Kennedy as the law firm does the legal work for them. We are concerned that as we have not signed the contract but CCS of A is telling us the first payment is still going to be automatically drafted from our bank account. We spoke to someone at CCS of A today and informed them we would not be continuing with the application process. We have NOT signed the contract and our application has been cancelled with CCS of A. But they still want their first payment.
