Because of helping others, I have put myself in the position of being so far in debt that I have no way out. A friend with cancer, I paid her bills for 10 months, my mother moved in and I take care of her, and an abused young woman needed a safe place to go. So needless to say, because of my weakness to help others, I now cannot pay my bills and I don't have $30000.00 equity in my home. I am trying desperately to get a consolidation loan, not a home equity loan. If you don't do consolidation loans, please let me know up front.

Well, I have the same problem as everyone else. I was called by AI to resolve a debt with amex. I've been trying to pay back to debt and have been making good progress but the caller from AI was very rude. Then he calls me and says that they tried to take funds out to my checking account and and couldn't because there wasn't sufficient funds. First off i never othrized him to do this at all. When i had spoke with the collector i gave AI premission to take only a certain amount out of my checking account. then i told him i would working on getting the rest of the debt paid off.

Can anyone tell me if these people are doing something illegal. I took out a loan for 200.00 and am over a thousand negative just from these people. They harrass me at work everyday at least 2 or more times. Wont email, or mail me anything even though I asked for it. Help! What can i do?

just wondering how to cut my creit card bills before too long. i have around $4500 of credit card bills to pay off and its just taking forever. i have a high rate and its killing me in the long run. just wanted to find out how to consolidate before i pay way too much in intrest.

I got a payday loan through some company that was a front for JD Marketing Group. This payday loan was not like any of the others that I did, as they do not let you know when they will be taking money out of your checking account. Any other payday loan that I did, I would receive an email that asked if I wanted to pay in full or refinance. But JD Marketing doesn't send out any notices, they just take their finance charge out and refinance your loan with no notification. Is that legal?

I sent out certified letters June 30th and have gotten no response from any of my PDL's so to day I decide to call ameriloan, And they tell me that they show a 0 Balance, Does this mean that they sent it to someone else or they marked it paid in full? Should I call them back and ask if it is paid in full?
