I have a question. A family member called one of my creditors, trying to help me out but without my permission; to my surprise, they shared information about my account without my approval. Then they called me and asked if they could and I advised them no. I came to find out that they still gave him the information. I called to file a complaint and now, the "manager" won't return my call. What can or should I do about this?

For the past two month NCO has tried to contact me on my cell and I would never answer. Two weeks ago I received a letter from an attorney asking to be paid in full for an old credit card account that i had on behalf of NCO. This account is over 7 years old and I know the SOL has expired. I sent a letter to the attorney stating this fact and asking for proof of the debt. I have credit watch on my credit reports and received a notification that an inquiry had been made and guess!! who it was "the attorney"; I then proceeded to receive a phone call on my cell and at my home.

Hello has anyone had success in contacting attorney generals or even in hiring a lawyer to sue pdl's for harrassment? I haven't had any harrassment yet but I'm sure it's coming....

What is up with this? Anyone heard of: MannBracken, LLC? I received this letter today and quickly notified my settlement company. They are familiar with them and state that they do work with them. I am confused now...is this just a scary hairy letter? or is this the serious last steps before they hang me? Do they next go to take me to court and to garnish my check or what? I am terrified..... PLEASE help.

After recieving a citation I called the attorney listed on it and tried to make payment arrangements. He said I must pay the majority of the debt in full and NO payment plans were available for me. Doesnt' make sense to me, if I had the full amount wouldn't I I have paid them off??? My ONLY option is to make payments since this has affected my credit and I cannot get a loan. I'm at a loss here, don't know where to turn or what more to do.... Thanks for any help.

This number (602-357-9922) has been calling me about 10X per day, most of the time I don't even have time to get to the phone because they only let it ring once, sometimes twice. It is really annoying.
