Today, I heard from our attorney in regards to the pending lawsuit against Finklestein, Kern, Steinburg and Cunningham. They claim that they stayed within the guidelines of the fdcpa laws by using the tactic of a lien on our home. They feel they have committed no violations and they were following the orders of HSBC. Keep in mind this was an unsecured credit card with a small balance in consolidaton and they screwed me out of over $1500.00. In the letter, it also stated that HSBC hadn't received not on single payment. Well thats awful funny because they just lied on paper.

How do I find out if a debt collector/payday loan company is licensed in my state.

I got a call from Geneva Roth and Cash Advance USA. After a little cat and mouse game with the caller I was able to wrangle a fax number for both of them in case anyone is in need of them. Geneva Roth's fax number is 913-825-9971 and the lady I spoke with was a Ms. Ragsdale. Cash Advance USA's fax number is 877-520-4380 and that lady's name was Caroline Bishop.I never could get Ms. Bishop to say which PDL was under Cash Advance USA, and I have so many PDLs that I am sending letters to that I don't know which one is under that company.

I got a call from someone named Steven and he says I have to pay today or they are going to subpeona me - my account went into collection from DIAH Financial

My husband really needs help with payday loans, he has 5 pay day loans out, we have three kids and im unemployed right now, he gets paid twice a month, and we can not seem to pay any other bills except payday loans, and they are killing us, we live in missouri is there any way we can just change our checking account, and try to pay them alittle at a time, or is there some kind of help out there to help us out? please any advice..... crying Angela

I sent Pinnon Management working for ameriloan a validation letter after they took money without my authorization. I have gotten phone call after phone call in the past 2 days from Ameriloan Bryan Quinn I told him do not call me at work and I want validation which I sent Saturday he is so rude. He tells me we need to make arrangements on this. Any help appreciated.

Who do I report the PDL to besides BBB? My Attorney General office but shouldnt I also report them to the Attorney General in the State in which they are at?

I finally get through to someone with GFI ( Global Finanical) today and first they wouldnt give me the address then gave me another number to which I was to call which is 877-280-3359 So I call and they tell me that My account is in the collections stages OH yes that is nice They didnt notify me of that! When I explained that my bank account had to be closed I didnt tell them why, They asked me if I could reopen it or another one I told them no I couldnt do that, But that I wanted the address so that I could send them money in the mail, his response was that they do not allow that and that
