I have had a series of Toll free numbers calling my Cell phone lately, I don't normally answer those type of calls so I don't know who they are. Anyone know of any place on the net to look up these types of numbers to see who they are without answering the phone and using any of my cell phone time? Thanx in advance.

I recently disputed a lot of items on my Equifax (removed 6 old credit cards) and transunion (removed 8 old credit cards). I got the electronic copies of my new credit report but want a new score. I think $15 is too steep for the one from Transunion. Anyone know where I can go to get my score cheaper! Thanks "Getting out of" Quicksand!!

I want to know how much i've paid on my loan to unitedcashloans and oneclick. i know i can get my bank statements but I also want them to tell me. so how would i word that and make it sound professional like? or is there a sample letter already

anyone ever dealt with Professional credit collections agency out of jenks oklahoma? theyu told other day if i didn't send in a payment that my account would go to the legal department and i made a verbal agreement to make a payment. so if send in them 20 $ do you think they will send my account to the legal department.

My fiance got an extra visa card, with my name on it, on his own credit card account. He was not asked for my SS# when he signed me up. Therefore, I am just a user of the account and don't own it....right? Can a junk debt buyer/creditor find out I am listed on this account and sue my fiance or garnish his bank accounts, for an old debt they seem to think I owe them?

Hi guys.. I have worked in hr for 6 yrs now, and the bulk of what I do is payroll..Meaning I handle a lot of garnishments and from time to time wage assignments. I have to be fluent in both federal and state laws on these, and I know that there is a lot of confusion about wage assignments, so I'm going to explain them.. A wage assignment is NOT ILLEGAL!! Yes, there's a protocol as to how they're supposed to be written, but to call them illegal is wrong. They're voluntary..basically it's an IOU. If payroll gets one..we honor it..unless the employee comes to us with written revocation.

I just received a call at 9:45 pm from 212-313-3500. when i called back it was a conference line voice mail and i could not understand the name he used. I have been having problems with Academy collections and now was wondering who else is harassing me. I have had some things happen to me in the last year that was out of my control and now i owe money to Citibank. I can't settle with a lump sum and told them i could pay $50 a month, now i wouldn't pay them (acdemy)a dime of my money. I called Citibank about them and they didn't say anything but that i should have been making payments.

For at least 3 weeks, every night I get a phone call from a "unknown name and number." I don't answer these calls. But they leave a message telling me that I should call allied interstate at an 866 number for a matter "of interest." Tonight I finally called them back to basically give them what-for. What happened was that I called, got put on hold, hold, hold, hold, hold, hold, hold, click, click, hung up on. As best I know, I do not have any outstanding debts. I suspect that someone is raking in money for use of their phone lines. Any ideas? Pepper
