Company/Individual reported: HSBC I had another call from HSBC the other day and after explaining I am in consolidation, blah, blah, blah---the representative said "Well it is US you owe the money to, not your consolidation company!" Do they think I am unaware of this obvious FACT? Why does someone collecting money always act like it gives them power to try and intimidate the person or pretend that they know something you don't?

I recieved a bill from asset acceptance llc today for $770.52.RE.Providian bank.I do not know what this bill is for.There is not a providian bank any where near where I live that I am aware of.I have never had any thing from this bank.Please help me figure out what I need to do to get this taken care of.

A debt company NCO has contacted me about a debt from 1996 which I can't remember if I paid or not. The jewerly store has gone out of business and this payment is not on my credit report. The company keeps calling me... They have lowered the amount from $536.00 to $350.00. What do I do?

Ok, so here's my story. It all starts back in about 1998. Before I married my now ex, I worked at a department store, where I got my first credit card. I only had a $200 limit and it was always maxed out. After we got married, I quit my job and then I became addicted to spending, whether it was on Ebay or whatever. I was a depressed, stay-at-home mom to a then 1 year old. Everyday was just a going through the motions sort of thing, living in a small two bedroom apartment in a complex that was for low income families.

Has anyone had luck with payday select or payday ok? Sending letters Monday.
