I have a judgment now from one of the five payday loan places i have a defaulted loan with. I am in desperate need of some help

Most of my payday loans are from storefronts. I need to consolidate--does anyone have any experience with negotiating with them directly? I'm curious to know how they respond to a consumer rather than a consolidation company.

i signed up on here (after nosing around a bit :D ) and got notice from superiordebt.com - we don't want to go the settlement route, we were looking mostly to get our ridiculous interest rates reduced. are we looking at this the wrong way?

After sending the "infamous" refund letter to United Cash, I received back from them a kind of strange letter saying they would not give me a refund, but would close it and "take it as a loss". The remaining balance was $145.00. I am wondering if anyone else has received a letter like this from United Cash? There is a settlement and agreement letter that I have to sign and FAX by June 6 or they will continue to pursue collection of the debt.

Geneva Roth is coming to me 2 yrs later, demanding payment within 2 hrs, claiming that I used my company's IP address to embezzle funds. The agent that I spoke with, Trenton Bradley has said that he is not a debt collector, but rather the head of Fraud Divison, and that he will be forwarding all documents to my company's CEO. Can he do this? Please help!

I had a call today from a woman named Kathleen telling me that $50 was not enough for a payment and since previous payments had failed that I needed to contact my lawyer and contact them back within 48 hours with this info because I was unwilling to make payments. They have told me in the past what amount I had to pay and wouldn't settle for less so by the time it was due I couldn't get the money. So what should I do? I don't want to go to court or jail or anything like that. I am just scared. What can they do? I live in Delaware. Can someone please help!

I took a peek at my credit report (Experian) and it showed this as a potentially negative item. There are several dates on there and I'm confused as to which one would apply to the SOL (which is 7 yrs here in PA)? I paid it off a looong time ago, I thought it was back in 1998 (or 1999), so the dates are throwing me off. I KNOW it wasn't as recent as 2000 or 2002. I think it was a student loan.

I just looked up some information on the internet and it talked bad about people whom sign over power of attorney to their debt settlement company. PLEASE tell me I did not sign over power of attorney to them so they can rob me blind and take advantage of me. I understood them say they were just my power of attorney to deal with the creditors listed on the paper. I was giving them permission to only do that. Has anyone else signed over power of attorney to a debt settlement company.?
