Ok i am hooked up with t&c and they seem to be cool but i just dealt with a lady named sheree that was kind of rude to me. She made a comment about me calling another agent twice the day before to get an update. Which i did do because she told me to fax in info and i wanted to make sure that i faxed in the info and that it was received. Now i feel unsure about them. I am trying to be on top of things on my end i have read the threads and i am scared about what the pdl's will do to me. I have officially defaulted on my loans (10) today. Hey all: I just did the online credit report and found interesting information. First of all, it don't look that bad and I have been in the settlement program for almost a year. Second of all: What the heck does this mean? Acct charged off; past due 180 days; written off 1044.00; 1044.00 past due? Does it mean they wrote it off, but still trying to collect? LONG time ago, I had a medical bill go to CA. They served me lien papers and I buckled and made quick payment arrangements.

I have decided to poke around to find out info on Connecticut state laws on Payday loans. I find conflicting information. One site states payday loans are banned in CT and another states that CT has no laws to regulate them. Which is it? Anyone ever deal with Nationwide Cash for a payday loan? I faxed them the letter asking for them to mark my account paid in full, as I have paid back more than twice the original loan amount. They do not have to follow Arkansas state law, only New Mexico state law.

I had dental work done last August and was left with an outstanding bill after my insurance payment. I have been making 50.00 payments every month ever since. I still owe the dentist 800.00. I received a letter from the dentist stating that if this bill is not paid in full by this August, he will send the bill to a collection agency. Can he do that?

While do a little research for some on the forum this morning, I stumbled across the website of Innovis the forth , less well known CRA. You can order your Credit report from them,but they apparently feel they are exempt from the FACT act and charge a $10 for it. Anyone have any idea why they would be any different from any other Consumer reporting agency? Something tells me this is going to one people will need to watch out for, as they apparently think they are above the law.
