Just read a thread that reminded me of my friend and I thought you all may need kind of a good laugh...because I know that being in debt is not a laughing matter and make a person very depressed with all the non stop calls and harassment. So....enjoy my story. I have a friend whom is a mother and grandmother. She is about 48 years old and she is shy a few bricks if you know what I mean. She is very loving, friendly and outragiously funny!!!

Hi all, With so many cat people in the forum, it;s time to run a thread to post cat pics and talk about cats. They are such cute little beasts! This cat that I'm posting is my inlaw's-neighbor's cat who invites herself to my in-law's house all the time over in Denmark to eat table scraps, drink from the faucet, and lay on my husband. Here is another good quesiton for ya.... (I hope I have not already asked this before) Since I am enrolled in a debt settlement company, most of my accts has went to a CA. Ok. What if my debt settlement program settles with the CA and then years later the original creditor says I STILL owe them?

I know when I last paid my old credit cards. How do I prove when I last paid them? It is my guess the JDB will argue with me and show a fake payment. How do I proove them wrong if they do that?

Hi Vikas and/or anybody :) Sorry to bug you again!! I do all my thinking late at night, when my kids fall asleep! :) I had an idea as I was browsing the forum. Perhaps in a future update to the website, a feature could be added to allow users to report an abusive/offensive/otherwise inappropriate post to a moderator or admin? I've noticed an occasional cuss word, which I know is a no-no, and all those drug ads that are passing through the spam filters. Just a suggestion for the future!!! Hi guys :) I have noticed that in the past few days, when I am clicking on "My Threads" or "Posts Since Last Visit" and I click on a thread that has more than one page, I am still directed to the first page only. This happens when I click on a specific page number other than 1. Also, if I click on the last post by a person, it directs me to the first page also. I wasn't sure if maybe the site was updated and something went haywire! Just thought I'd share that with you guys and see if maybe anybody else was having the same problem. I have a Sears account that I am past due on. It went to collections. I called them today to try again and set up payment arrangements. They said that they sent the account back to Sears. I called Sears and they said that the account is in recovery. What exactly does that mean? Will I have a better chance of setting up arrangements now that it is back with Sears, or will it be worse? Sears said that it is not with them and that it is in recovery. I am confused.
