I was sitting here thinking about the pdls breaking the laws and such. Has anybody thought about them breaking the law of the states deferred presentment in the form of issuing more than one loan to a customer? I will use Rio for instance, they gave loans, but they are affliated with United Cash Loans, 500 Fast cash and so on. So wouldn't this be an idea to add to the letters we are sending to the lenders in reagrds to the violations they are committing?

Can someone please advise me as to once an account is paid in full after being charged off will this improve my FICO score? I have paid off several accounts that were previously charged off and my FICO score still has not raised. How long does this take normally?

I need some help. I sent a Cease and Desist to E-Payday loans. The company received the letter. I conolidated my loans with T&C. Everyday I receive a call at home, work, cell, and parents house regarding the loan.I keep advising every rep that they are not following the Cease and Desist. Just today a rep named Mr. Handley from E-Payday called me on my cell and cursed me out because I consolidated. This has been going on with this company since 04/14/06. I faxed the Cease and Desist on 04/17/06 and mailed it on the same day.

I have a loan with Advance America and through going in there every 2 weeks I established a relationship with the 2 girls that work in my local office. They, by far, have been an absolute delight to deal with through all of this. I know that they will not accept lower than $100.00 payments a mo. and I guess I can live with it, I'll have them paid off in 4 mos. and they will be gone. I was just wondering if others have had similar experiences with their local pdl's? Has Advance America been this nice to everyone?

What if my credit standing with my debts is perfect never been late no complaints, and my credit score is 730 points. what would a consolidation or counseling service refect on such a situation. would there be no effect, or would be impact negativally on my score?

About two months ago I lost my job (actually, my temp assignment ended) and went several weeks without income. I missed my rent, electric, and a most of my credit card payments. I started a new job a week ago that is very secure and long term, but I will be waiting until the 19th of this month for my first paycheck, which is too long to wait on bills. I received a legal notice from my apartment complex today saying that they filed for eviction and that I can stop the process if I pay within the week.

I live in Seattle, Washington. Recently, I received a call from a company trying to collect on a bill that my boyfriend has leftover from his young and doesn't have to pay anything days a few years ago. Since he just paid off a card, I'm sure it made this company take notice. Since my phone number is on the report (as he was using it for a brief time) they called me. I instructed them that this was not his number and gave them the correct number. They are making our lives hell. We want to work this out with them and would like for them to call.
