Hello all was just wandering if a PDL is valid with no signature? Even if it says it can't be processed without signature? And if the loan note and the cash agreement should both have details of the loan amount printed on both statements along with the name of the lending company, and if not do you think it may be a scam. Any feedback is appreciated.

Hi everyone! I thought I would explain a little more about exactly what happened to me with my PDL distaster waiting to happen. If anyone's ever had the problems I'm having, I would love to hear your story, and find out what happened to you, how you dealt with it, and how you ultimately fixed your problem... Each of my loans are from store front lenders, and they are rather huge amounts. All six of them together total to a very huge amount that now totals way beyond what I net every two weeks from my job.

When your checking account became overdrawn because of defaulted PDLs, or when you placed multiple stop payments on your account, or when you froze your account, did your bank give you grief about the overdrawns, the stopped payments, and the freeze on the account? When freezing an account to stop withdrawals, can you ask the bank to honor some withdrawals and deposits?

I'm dealing with PDLs that are all store front loans. How did you handle your situation? Did you ask for T&C's assistance? If so, were they able to help you? Will I be able to get debt consolidation with my situation, or am I at the mercy of the lenders themselves, and if that's the case, how difficult was it for you to work out a reasonable payment plan with the lenders? Were you threatened with criminal and civil action? Did they try to send the checks through to your bank account despite having a freeze or stop payments on your account? How did you end up resoloving your matter?

I have good credit I just wanted to combine my 3 bills to pay 1 company a month. I want to keep my good credit!! 1. What would combining bills with MBNA do to my credit report and credit score? I would not want anything to appear on my credit report like I couldn't pay my bills - 2. Also would not want mbna to try to negotiate what I owe the other companys I made the debt -I just want them paid what I owe them and again to pay one bill with one company a month...Is this possible ???

My checking account is with Chase Bank (formerly Bank One), and I want to place stop payments on my upcoming PDLs (see my other post: PDLs - "I'm Starting To Have Problems" to find out why I'm placing stop payments on the PDLs). Does anyone know if Chase Bank will give me trouble honoring the stop payments? And can the PDL lenders still present my checks for payment despite the fact that I have stop payments on the checks? Can the PDL lenders represent them electronically, and Chase lets them through despite the stop payments being in place?

In my credit report show a debit for 71.00 with MCYDSNB woud you please explain why?

Just came across something new on identity and info theft. Now crooks can go on the web and buy this gizmo that can change the caller id number they call to your house. It works like this,they call your house and you caller id say Bank of Whatever(your bank), then they say there's been a problem with your account,blah,blah, we need all new infor on you. Your caller id says it's from your bank,so you may feel safe giving it to them--don't. If you are in doubt,or want to feel extra safe,hang up and call your bank or whoever and fing out if they really did call.
