Last Friday I was: ** Sending my retainer fee to T&C ** Holding my breath to see how the PDL people would react to finding out my account was closed ** Feeling peace that I had taken a step in the right direction, but anxious as to how it would all unfold. This Friday: ** I have comfort in knowing that THREE of my PDLs agreed to zero out my remaining balance for a total of $714 ** T&C has commitments from at least three other PDLs and is sending them the proposals for their approval. Well, it pains me to write this but this week I found out that we were ninety days behind on our mortgage. I am not listed on the mortgage, it is in my husband's name only but we mailed a payment in April that was refused by the mortgage company. They received the payment on the 17th but stated they turned us over to foreclose on the 13th. We have never received the check back from the mortgage company nor have they cashed it. I got permission to speak on the account, I am better at it than my husband.
