Well here we go. They were quiet for a while but then all of the sudden - my payroll supervisor comes in here with this packet from sonic....she's saying legally they can take it from my pay...I sent the wage assignment to them via fax but never sent it certified mail. How do I handle this?

I signed up w/T&C on Friday, but did some research into Texas law this weekend. Turns out that PDL lenders MUST be licensed in Texas to issue loans AND there are caps on interest that can be charged. I am planning to send the PDL pollyandsay's letter about their violation of Texas law and see if I can get the contracts voided since they are not licensed to loan in Texas.

How can I get my debt consolidated?

Hi all :) I sent a dispute letter to Transunion, regarding some "joint" medical bills that my ex never paid. I included a letter signed by him, that stated that he takes responsibility for the bills and that he agrees that they should be removed from my credit report. The letter worked, and 4 of the 6 accounts have been removed (not sure why the other 2 haven't been yet, but I'm sure they will be if 4 were). Anyway, now that the collection agency has been notified of a dispute, I have receieved *10* letters in the last week or so from them, asking for payment!

I know I have read the answer to this question somewhere,but don't remember. My question-Do junk debt buyers have to be licensed to collect in your state like PDL's? One bought my old Sears account,hasn't validated and am getting ready to send one more letter.They have also broken numerous fdcpa reg. If they have to be licensed,how do you find out if they are? all my payments for credit cards and car loan are timely. can you reduce interest rates which run 14% on car and 26% on credit cards reduced to below 15% and how much are your services? I'm recently retired and have added $500 in car and insurance costs to a limited income.

I have some payday loans outstanding and since I feel like I have paid up way more than I needed to and since I can't get in touch with these people, I decided to call my bank and see if they can stop all ACH debits. She said that since I authorized these transactions, there was nothing that can be done. Can someone please let me know what I can do next?
