I actually got my refund today from Rio Resources. I didn't think I would actually get the money. They have their return address as: MTE Financial Services d/b/a Rio Resources 515 G SE Miami, OK 74354 Props to you pollyandsay for your help. :D

My question is about a negative on my credit report,It is from alltel,They are claiming that I ordered a cell phone online in 2002 and owe them 352 dollars.I have never owned a cell phone,and have disputed this with the CRS many times this past year.I wanted to know what this would fall under as far as the SOL is concerned.Is it like a credit card or written contact,just curious,since I dont think that they are going to take it off.I reported it as fraud,but they have now sent it to a collection agency.What do you think?

Does anyone know... Can a store front payday lender turn a person into a collection agency even though they have never attempted to cash the checks used in the transaction? Thanks in advance! ~~Peace

I changed the subject heading for this topic. I don't mean to cause any hurt feelings. ************************* I called the DE licensing division, to ask about the one lender I had that is in DE. First, the woman was very uptight with me once she realized I wasn't trying to apply for a license. The company is listed on the DE website as being a "small loan" lender (I searched the licensing database, and Military Financial is listed as "MILITARY FINANCIAL INC FINANCE OR SMALL LOAN AGENCY"), under the licensed lender category.

I can't find any contact information for them to give to T & C.

I was just wondering - is Cash Advance Network the same as RIO Resources? I had a loan with Rio Resources and Cash Advance Network - Paid off Rio Resources but I never have heard from Cash Advance Network after I defaulted on the loan. That is why I am wondering if they are one and the same? I would like to know because I put Cash Advance Network with T&C and if they are also Rio Resources than I can drop them.

I had Bank of America credit card, goofed it up, entered into agreement with DelRay credit counseling, had it under control a few months, lost job, fell out of repayment program ...Apparently, BofA sold loan to CACH,LLC...jacked to amount from 4600 to 8500 and now have attorneys, Daniels & Norreli, P.C., threatening me with lawsuit filing if I don't pay the full amount.
