I just need to be sure the t&c has a good reputation. I am so nervous because i have been scammed before. Please help!!!

How far can payday lenders go to make you repay. They have called to threaten me at work. They have requested that I immediately wire money to them which I don't have. They prey on people who can't get loans thru traditional means and take advantage of you when you miss a renewal fee. Please advise. I reside in the state of TN. None of the loans that I acquired are in this state, they were done on line.

Does T&C handle all debts or just payday loans?

I checked my credit report,there are no debts in Collections.Why is a debt collector calling me?

The financial services department just emailed me requesting information on the companies I'm dealing with. I gave her the whole story including the names of these people. Hopefully will have an answer on how to deal with this by the end of the day.

Hi everyone. A some of you might know, I have had severe problems with payday loans recently, and just a week ago I signed on to this forum and with T&C. They have given me hope and you all have been such a comfort to me. I have also been in the process of trying to close my checking accounts per T&C's advice, and start with a fresh one. I did open a new account, and place holds on the other one to keep PDL co's from debiting my account. The hold did not stick for some reason, so I have had to file claims on all those charges.

i am refinancing my house. the mortgage company is requiring that they pay any collections under 2 years old. i tried to explain to them that the account was sold, and the collection agency put a new date on the account. the agency had listed the amount owed as 9,576.00, and they turned it over to a law firm to collect. inorder to refinance my home, i agreed to pay $6000.00 as full payment. now the collection agency wants the remaining amount $3,576.00. can the collection agency require that i pay the remaining ammount?
