Hi guys. This sounds so corny, but I have to thank you guys. Today is the one year anniversary of my dad's death, and I am having a very rotten day. I couldn't wait for my computer time tonight, so I could come here! You guys have been great this past month and a half, and I feel like I have a whole bunch of new friends. Thank you so much, and it's so great to be here. This is the last time you will ever hear me be quite so sappy, so pat yourselves on the back.

I just want to thank everyone on this site. I have called T&C & can breathe now. I really had no idea what I was going to do until I found you guys. I cannot express the gratitude I have. im in a bind with my credit. i have credit card bills, medical bills, a student load, and other misc. unpaid items, and i havent paid on anything in about 4 years. it all stems down to me being irresponsible. my question is, ive been charged off by the majority of the collecters, and everything will come off of my report by 2008, except two items that go off in 2011, which i could pay for. so should i just pay off those two and wait till '08?

Once all the payday lenders find out that I've consolidated and they start calling me. Will they also call the references phone numbers as well? These were internet payday applications that required references. Just wondered what experiences you all had? :roll:

Pretty excited, I bit the bullet and called some creditors,upped my payment and will have 2 more paid off in 3-4 months!! Ya Now I can finally see the light at the end od the tunnel. How I was able to up my payments was this: called my car insurance,dropped full coverage on one vehicle that was not necessry,nor would it pay,to have full coverage. Got my home insurance with auto insurance,saved me more money all around. With this "extra"from my insurance savings,I upped my payments on 2 bills a little,but that little will pay them off faster.

Made big mistake 11/05 was talked into settling a $400 medical bill for $300 payoff. Now 03/06 credit report shows $100 balance to differant collection angency. Here are some fact hope someone can help. 11/05 Received 30 day LTR from Law office listing an old CA that had been trying to collect for a few years and original DR/bill agent. Was mine I hope. Called Law office REP said if I settled today for $300 he would send me payed off letter. I wanted it first but made mistake. 01/06-03/06 Have been calling Law office to get paid off ltr with more promises.

Okay I just spoke with a local debt consolidation firm and they are working with me and my payday loans. We presently have 13 yep 13 of them and it just kept snow balling on us and we had no where to turn. We are paying $2000+ in finance fees each month and even though we make great money you can see where we are getting no where. My questions really are, what can I expect from this process will these people harrass me and my boss or can this be done peacefully?

I am scared to death to call my back, I am currently in the hole to the for over $400.00 in NSF fee and bounced checks due to credit card loans I have taken out. I know that they will not close my acct. and open a new one with an outstanding balance, will they freeze the acct. with automatic deductions from payday loans companies coming through? I have also just completed my application with T & C. They were so very nice to me and what they have set up seems too good to be true. A girl says that they sound like a rip off company to her.
