Hi all. I got a settlement offer in todays mail. Its from ACB collection agency. I have been paying them since august of last year. The balance is 1578.00, the settlement in todays mail was for $750.00. It is an HILCO account that was once an MBNA account. I'm not sure if MBNA sold it to hilco or if they were just collecting. Then they turned around and hired ACB to collect. SO its a collection agency collecting for a collection agency. Thats a good deal. Only thing is, I just got the letter today but have until friday to act. My income tax won't be back before friday.

Between that & school, its hard for me to come up with the money. Is there any way I can consolodate? I don't even know what all I owe, and I can't go to my parents with this. Help Me! I know nothing about this stuff and I'd like to get things on the right track before I begin, "real life!" Is this site legit??

Where can you find a list of licenses to see if a company is licensed in your state. I am looking for info on moneytree.bz. I had a loan with them over a year ago, paid over $1000 in finance fees, closed my bank account because i moved, and now i just got a call from attorney frederick d kelly saying i owe them $1400.00 and that he is ready to send my papers off. I sent them a validation letter, and they just sent me back a printout of how they claim i owe this much. Also, sent the agreement with only the back page signed, the rest didnt look familiar. Any advice is appreciated.

Well things were going great until Riscuity called and said we they are representing Zipcash which is paid in full. The lady could barely speak english. I told her the loan was paid in full and she blantly called me a liar and she was from the law office of Riscuity and I told her that they are a collection agency and where were they located and all she would give me is Atlanta, Ga. All the BBB shows is Marietta, GA, Alpharetta, GA, Kennesaw, GA. The number she gave me was 800-564-7460. Does anyone know which address has this 800 number?

Hello All! On 3-11 i pulled my free EXP & purchased my score (628). On 3-22 i decided to go with the 3 in one monitoring deal for 15.00 per mo (x2) way cheaper than the other route. Anyway, my EXP score went down 50 pts. & hubby's in 10 days. TU & EQ were about the same. A BOA acct is in good standing on EXP report but showing co in july 05 on EXP 3 in one. Got asprin? This is not the reason for the drop in score as EXP is not reporting BOA on my CR. I haven't found the reason yet. I'm just wondering why the reports are different for this acct they are both from EXP just 10 days apart.

Hi guys, I'm sorry I haven't been around much this week. I was a bit shaken from all the posts the other night but I'm doing better about it. My dog went missing on Thursday and we found him yesterday morning. He was badly injured but he will be okay. It turns out he got hit by a car and has a broken leg. I haven't had this dog too long so we are still working on the trust/bond stages of our relationship. He is home now and sleeping comfortably.
