I applied for and got this cc that was already 300.00 balance and when i tried to cancel they told me i couldnt until i paid off the cc and i never even used it??? anyone else seen this same kind off ripoff?

I have two small debts with a company called Cred Protection Assoc 1355 Noel rd Suite 2100 Dallas, TX 75240 972-233-9614 is the phone number showing for them but when I try it I get no longer in service and it is the only number coming up when I do a search on the company. Anyone have knowledge of a different phone number that is working? Thanks Tim

I was told if these payday loan companies report me i get in alot of trouble for writing bad checks???? im with t&c now which is good but is this true?? its not like i went into a store and passed a bad check that i knew wouldnt clear......????

a collection company is saying i owe a bill from 15 years ago. there was never any judgment against me and the bill was not valid. can they do this and can they put it on my credit after so many years

ok so now im all snuggled into my position with T&C and they have been great so far but my question is this....do i really need to send these cease and desist and revocation letters to everyone of my creditors????? i figure t&c is doing enough work but dont want to get myself in more than i can handle....;) also still need addresses for cashtransfercenters and jvc processing..... :oops:

Hello, To make a long story short, a few years ago I received a letter from a creditor I owed (connected to govt - AAFES account). The letter said they were going to go forward with salary offset unless I responded soon; I was ignoring them... I no longer had the card as I could no longer use it when I returned from overseas. I did contact them and set up automatic debt-repayment plan that came right out of my pay electronically. The debt was paid in full by mid 2004. The account is listed on my report as a Charge Off. Why?

Does anyone have a list of financial institutions that don't use telecheck when opening new accounts? I tried doing a search, but I'm having problems getting the keywords right. Thanks!
