I've read a lot about Rio resources here. Who are they? all I can find on the web is that they operate out of New Mexico and Nevada. The reason I am wondering is because I have a defaulted loan with ICS. When the fees were debited out of my account a few months ago that debit was ACH RIO RESOURCES. The address that I sent the certified letter for ICS to was in Nevada. Can anyone shed some light on this?

I keep seeing T&C brought up as a good company to work with payday lenders. Could someone send me the contact info? Also, is there a minimum amount required to sign with them? TIA

What is this T&C that is mentioned? I'm very curious because people are mentioning that T & C is taking care of payday loans that they have. I have quite a few that I owe and do not want to get into lawsuits over. Thanks

Has anyone taken out a payday loan with a New Mexico lender, such as PayDayOK, or Rio Resources since February 15th? The AG there passed laws that went into effect on February 15, which would not allow these companies to operate as they have previously. I am wondering if these companies have closed up shop and moved to another state, or if they are adhering to the law. If anyone has, what state are the proclaiming to be governing law on your contract? What is the apr?

What is a cease and desist and revocation letter? I spoke with my counselor at T&C and she said all my creditors would be paid in full and I would pay T&C my weekly payment???

I live in Florida and would like to know where I can locate information about usury laws for my state. Also, for internet loan companies, are they bound to adhere to the laws for my state or the laws of their location? I am still trying to educate myself about this.

I am officially signed up with T&C as of yesterday. I just called them and they said that they won't have any payment information or anything else until Monday. I know I am being impatient but I just want to know when the ball will actually get rolling. I haven't defaulted on any loans yet but on my next payday (March 31) I will if they don't accept the payment arrangements from T&C. I did ask the counselor I spoke with if I should call the companies and she said to let them (T&C) handle it.
