I statred out with LVNV trying to collec for a bought account from Sears,sent debt validation letter,etc. Last Thurs. talked to someone with Resurgent trying to collect,she was nice,said there would be no problem with payments,blah,blah. Last night got a call from Phillip Cowan(?) Associates. trying to get the whole balance. Explained,lost my job,etc.,that they said payments would be no problem.

When shall I expect to receive a call from you guys? Thanks

Well, as you all know, I am in the process of credit repair (duh, why else would I be here!). I put together a one year plan for my goals of credit repair and I thought I would share some of it with you guys, as it might help you out a little. The first thing I did is pull all my credit reports and examine them carefully. I checked every page, every word. The next thing I did is make a list, one page for each credit report, of exactly how I plan to improve my credit, from March of this year to March of next year.

JUST read about this a few minutes ago. All three bureaus will be switching to a new credit scoring system. They are calling it "VantageScore". The new scores will be available to consumers later on this year, after the lender rollout. All the bureaus will be using the same scoring system now, so having different scores will be because of the different info reporting to each bureau, not because of their methodology in calculating the scores. VantageScore ratings will range from 501 to 990.

I have successfully made all attempts possible in rebuilding my credit. Or at least I thought. There was an item on my credit report that was not mine, and so I disputed it. It was for an emergency room visit, dated back in 2003. During the Spring term I was in Oklahoma City living, so I knew right away the item wasn't mine. The collection agency for the hospital was very pleasant to deal with. The item is currently being reviewed and will be deleted this afternoon. However, the account holders for the ambulance visit were very defensive when I spoke with them today.

Has anyone ever had a problem with sending out CMRRR, and getting the letter returned-signature refused? What did you do, and how did you go around the obstacle to get proof of your letter being mailed?

I have this posted on my credit report with this company. I have no idea what this 905.00 charge is for, or who lvnv funding llc is. It does not give me an address or number to call. Can someone please help. How did I find out that this amount is in collections for?

Last weekend here at work, we got really bored. It was a slow saturday, and when that happens, we start getting goofy. One of our co-workers, Steve, is a master voice impersonator...One of them is ex-president Bill Clinton. He sounds JUST LIKE HIM... So we call Macy's furniture department to inquire about their mattresses... After a 10 minute conversation, Steve says, "Me and my wife, Hillary will be in tomorrow to take a look...My name is Bill." And the lady said, "Ok Bill!

These people are very hard to deal with. How do I keep them from calling my job - I told the lady who I talked to last that I couldn't squeeze blood out of a turnip. I have come to the conclusion though that they are liars, they told me 2 weeks ago that they were going to send my account to a third party agency, well that apparently never happened. Is there a letter to send them to keep them from calling my job or my references? :evil:
