Have not paid them in 2 months. They send me an email every day with Moneygram instructions to bring my loan up to date. I have ignored them so far. What should my next step be? Do I talk to them at all about a settlement or just keep ignoring them? I originated with Western Sky and they sold it to Cash Call. I am in the state of Michigan. Will it be reported on my credit report and tank my score?

last week i got a court date for civil court for a credit card debt to capital one for about 1500.00. first thing i did was apply for a lawyer through legal aid (i got one last year when asset acceptance tried to sue me on behalf of chase for over 10,000), i was denied this time though because legal aid does not do civil cases. i did talk to a lawyer on the phone friday who was very nice and answered a lot of my questions. he said i could call and try to settle out of court if i wanted. monday i called and the lady i talked to was very very nice.

I am currently in negotiations with a nice settlement offer from Cash Call. I of course originated a loan with Western Sky, but it then got transferred to Cash Call. I have not paid any amount in a while due to trying to get things settled. I have paid towards the loan, just not since about December. They finally stated that they would be able to work out an agreement with me where I pay a little above my remaining principal balance. The letter I got today states that I have to pay my first payment on the 27th.

I have an ideal and need to see if it will work and if so is the best way to do it. I am paying over the minimum on my cc monthly bill but I would like to pay the extra in the middle of the month rather at the regular billing day. My thinking is by paying the extra in the middle by the time they calculate the interest for the month the balance they calculate on will be a bit less... I would pay the min due on the due date and the extra in the middle of the month.:confused::confused: Does this make sense or not?
