I had cancer back in 1999 and I had no idea that my insurance had not paid the hospital in full, not until I got a copy of my credit report. It was only $282 so I paid them immediately. Before giving them my credit card iformation over the phone to pay the bill I ask if they would please send me a letter that states the account was paid in full and they also agreed to remove the negative statements they had sent in. I never got the letter and of course they didn't remove the report either. But....I recieved a phone call from them it was the first time they had ever phoned me.

Ok, so ya'll warned me, but I guess I didn't listen. I have a $250 loan with Platinum B. This is my 2nd loan with them as the first was paid off and they welcomed me back with open arms for a second. Heck, they even increased the limit by $50 bucks. Well, the weight of my payday loan house collapsed and I defaulted on every one that I have. I've dealt with half so far and have entered into payment agreements. Heck, one even offered me a 25% knockoff on what I owe if I'll settle within a specified period of time. Heck, I shoulda' got all my loans from them, right. LOL!

what does payment after charge/collection mean?

Hello, I am just now starting to put some feelers out there to find out what I need to do. I have been hearing of all kinds of horror stories from people who have gotten screwed over by bogus companies. I am not sure if I should go tha debt settlement route or tha debt consolidation route. I would like to know which way would be the most damaging to my credit score. My credit score as of right now is 662 and I dont want to damage it to where I have to start all over. I have too much credit right now as I found out when I went to get a debt consolidation loan from my local bank.

I recently had one paydayloan company take $540 total out of my checking account on the same day with three seperate withdrawals without warning me they were going to do it. This was most of my paycheck and now I have had 12, count them, 12! checks bounce in return at $30 a pop! Do I have any remedies against this company. I am very very frustrated and angry. They had no right to take that much at one time!

Hi, My phone is 434-263-**** which I was issued in late Dec. of 2005. Unfortunately, this phone number used to belong to a James Thompson. Kevin Young has called several times leaving messages to me and I called already once saying he has the wrong number. So you need find out where this man went to because that is not his number anymore. furthermore, I find it hard to believe that you haven't figured this out on your own yet. Do I sound like James Thompson?

Van Rue Credit Corporation called me at work. I'm in the field - I'm never in the office. How do I find out what they want? How do I get them to stop calling me at work? I don't even know what "account" I have with them. What kinds of accounts do they "handle"? Do they have a web site? Thanks.

Hi, I just found this forum a few days ago and I have learned soooo much--- wish I'd found it sooner. I was hoping I could get some insight on a current situation I'm dealing with. I had some credit card debt that was turned over to a collection agency. I talked to the collector on the phone a few weeks ago (from NCO Financials) and he was reasonable and agreed to a settlement with payment plan.

Does anyone know of a company that consolidates payday loans?

I have to appear in court at the end of March because I have been sued by Citicorp for a credit card debt. Does anyone have a sample of a letter stating that I am insolvent and have more debt than resources so I cannot pay the debt immediately and that I am in a debt reduction program trying to pay off all my credit card debts? Thanks for any help.
