I got a debt settlement offer from law office of m.n.kay on behalf of FDS Bank/Macys before I send them my money I want to make sure this is legit, and im not gonna send a bunch of money to some people and not have my debt paid off. has anyone dealt with law offices of mitchell n. kay in the past? thank you! :D

I disputed something with one of the credit reporting agencies. The response I received from one of them was not my desired response (I wanted them to validate an account). They told me if I had any further problems, to contact the collection agency (with whom I was having the problem ). I did, my question to you is, is the collection agency bound by the 30 day rule to respond or remove? Thanks for your help.

I just ahad a nasty go -round with them,they got ahold of my Sears acct(1982) and said pay in full, or they will sue,take my house,wages etc.Tried to work payment ,but want it in full, and an answer in one hour if I can or not. Anyone had this experience

I have 3 negative things on my credit report. Lets say i owe 3grand to verizon wireless, and another company bought the account, and now i owe that company 3g. So the verizon wireless and the other company are on my credit report as negative items. If i finish paying off the 3 grand i owe that third party company, when will it clear up on my credit report? and will the verizon wirless item clear up also? since i paid that company? do i contact the company to have them take it off? and the verizon wireless one off too? or does the credit company automatically remove it?
