i never used cingular wireless 2 years before or after the date of 1st delinquency 10/2003. i never received any delinquency notice from cingular wireless under my address for above described period. i live at my house for 6 years and never moved from 6 years until now. but while i tried to apply to satelite tv,i have found cba(collection bureau of america) report me to credit file. cba ripoff a dishonest,fraudulent and inaccurate credit reporting.

I called all of my creditors and advised them that I was consolidating my PD loans and such with T&C. Is it necessary to also send them a "reminder" letter. One or two out of the four places has tried calling me but I have missed their calls so I don't know what they are going to say. Needless to say at this point I haven't returned the phone calls. Any ideas? Thanks for any input you may have. :D

Okay-Home Depot did a charge off on me early last year. I have been mailing payments directly to them since April of last year. Every month they cash. THere is no collection agency involved here. I mailed a payment last month just as I do every month===today it shows back up at my house. Its the same address I have mailed payment to every month. They opened my letter---put it in a plan peice of white paper, folded it over, stapled and put 'return to sender Not at this address'on the outside of the envelope. anyone make anything of this?

Hi everyone, As I look thoughout this forum, I see other collectors stopping in as guests simply to lambaste the debtors in this forum, calling them deadbeats and scolding them for being debtors. Then they go on to defend the collectors being complained about in the forum, the ones who use illegal harassing tactics in the name of recovery. Like I stated earlier, I did not crawl out from under a rock one morning, traipse into a collection agency and have a job handed to me. I know how the world functions. I approach each debtor with an open mind.

After reading many post about these CAs that dont follow the rules,harass and threaten people.I was wondering just how it all starts.Do the orginal creditors just sell past due accounts to anyone,and why is it that sometimes more than one CA will have your account.Most of the orignial creditors are legit companies,why would they use these crooks like Elis and Crosby for example.I have also heard that sometimes the orginal lender will take the debt back if you make payment arrangments with them,but the Ca will still try to collect.Sorry for so many questions,but I am really confused and would l

I recently enrolled in the dmp with T&C Acceptance. Can anyone, who is also enrolled in this program, tell me if they have had any problems with the Payday loan companies contacting them at work, etc., after they have made the agreement with T&C?
