Has anyone heard of a company called Tran Dot Com - USA Phone. I received a letter from American Debt Collection with this companies name listed? Never heard of them before.
My husband recieved a court ordered summons regarding a debt from a debt collections agency. Is is to late to contact them to make an offer? The summons indicates that a judgement will not be enter until 35 days have passed. I owe the debt, but do I have to pay attorney fees even before a judgement has been issued or before I even go to court. I would rather settle that go to court.
Any suggestions?
Also, is the original dispute letter I sent to Experian covering everything I need to say so that my dispute is understood and I left no "grey" areas for them to say is the reason there was not a response within the required response time.
This is the first time I've disputed something and not received a response on-time. That's why I posted the follow-up dispute letter too. I'm sure I'm being paranoid about how they might respond since they're late in doing so.
i need to send out a few follow-up letters to Experian since I have disputed items on m credit report. It has been almost one and a half months and still no answer or reply from them as of yet. I sent the letters certified so I have proof of the date they all arrived there in Allen TX. I know that they should have responded by now according to the FTC and federal requirements.
I wanted to check and see if this letter I have pieced together from various templates found on the web is has complete and accurate information before I send it off Certified Mail again.
Hey I need some serious help. Earlier this year I settled my bad debt with Asset Acceptance for %50 of what was owed. They even faxed me a signed letter stating if I paid that day it would be considered settled. Now they are reporting that I still owe the other half, and it was never settled. What can I do? Do they report to someone I can Complain to? I upheld my part of the deal, but they didn't. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated...thanks!
for people like me who have had financial difficulties the past few years (3 or 4 years probably)?
It has been so tough just to cover my necessities to live each month for soooo long because my debts have grown so exponentially due to all the interest charges from when I had no way to pay any money toward those debts. Because of all that, my credit is very poor right now. I've really been wanting to get back into school for a while now and each time I try, I can never find a lender willing to give me a loan.
I am married and have about 27,000 dollars in credit debt. I have been unemployeed for about 6 months and things are building up and we cant keep up anymore. I'm looking for work very actively but my wife cant do it alone not even close. What is my best option I need help!!!!!!!
if the speed limit is 55mph, raise your hand if you actual drive 55mph or less. ok, since nobody raised their hand, i will ask this - you break the law every day by driving over the speed limit, does that mean you should be punished for it?
food for thought.
I have consolidated my payday loans with Town and Country. My bank won't close my account because I have a overdraft loan attached to it for $500. I have informed them 3 times that these payday people are not authorized to deduct from my account. I'm already about $200 overdrawn from overdraft fees. Now one of the payday loans tried to debit my account and the bank are force paying, overdrawing my account another $100. They are getting money from the bank and they are getting money from my debt consolidation. What can I do?
